The keyless access with push-button start system allows you to perform the following functions when you are carrying the access key.

  •  Locking and unlocking of the doors and rear gate (Outback)
  •  Opening the trunk (Legacy)
  •  Starting and stopping the engine. For detailed information, refer to "Starting and stopping engine (models with push-button start system)" .
  •  Arming and disarming the alarm system.

Locking and unlocking by the remote keyless entry system can also be controlled with the buttons on the access key.
