DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Immediately at fault recognition

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode Clear Memory Mode > OPERATION, and Inspection Mode Inspection Mode > PROCEDURE.

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK DTC. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and wait for approx. 30 seconds. 2) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 3) Check for DTC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is P05A6 displayed in «Present fault»-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC P05A6 ACTIVE GRILLE AIR SHUTTER "A" SUPPLY VOLTAGE CIRCUIT/OPEN	Even if DTC is detected, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, a temporary drop of battery voltage, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
2.CHECK BATTERY. Check the battery. Battery	Is the battery OK-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC P05A6 ACTIVE GRILLE AIR SHUTTER "A" SUPPLY VOLTAGE CIRCUIT/OPEN	Charge or replace the battery. Battery
3.CHECK ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTER POWER SUPPLY. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the battery. NOTE 3) Disconnect the connector from the active grille shutter. 4) Measure the voltage between active grille shutter connector and chassis ground. Connector & terminal (B63) No. 2 (+) — Chassis ground (−):	Is the voltage 9 V or more-	Replace the active grille shutter. Active Grille Shutter	Repair the power supply circuit.

Detect the abnormal voltage of active grille shutter power supply.

Judge as NG if out of specification.
