1. MID SWITCH

1. Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

Preparation tool:

Circuit tester

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions		Standard
3 — 2	(UP) i/SET (DOWN)	All OFF	Approx. 1 M- or more
	(UP)	ON	Less than 1 -
	i/SET	ON	Approx. 1,000 -
	(DOWN)	ON	Approx. 3,700 -

2. Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Specification
4 (+) — 1 (−)	Apply battery voltage.	Light ON

3. Replace the MID switch if the inspection result is not within the standard value.

2. TRIP RESET SWITCH

1. Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

Preparation tool:

Circuit tester

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
1 — 2	Switch OFF	1 M- or more
1 — 2	Switch ON	Less than 1 -

2. Replace the switch assembly - trip reset if the inspection result is not within the standard.

3. ILLUMINATION CONTROL SWITCH

1. Measure the resistance between connector terminals.

Preparation tool:

Circuit tester

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Standard
1 — 6	Bright switch OFF	10 k- or more
1 — 6	Bright switch ON	Less than 1 -
4 — 6	Always	4,465 to 4,935 -
5 — 6	Illumination control switch upward fully open	475 to 525 -
5 — 6	Illumination control switch downward fully open	4,370 to 4,830 -

2. Apply battery voltage between the connector terminals to check lighting condition of illumination inside the switch.

Terminal No.	Inspection conditions	Specification
2 (+) — 3 (−)	Apply battery voltage.	Light ON

3. Replace the illumination control switch if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
