Detected when the VDC control module (VDCCM) detects the malfunction of stereo camera.

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

• Defective CAN system

• Defective VDC control module (VDCCM)

• Defective stereo camera

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• All functions of EyeSight system do not operate.

• EyeSight warning light illuminates.

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK LAN SYSTEM. Perform the diagnosis for LAN system. Basic Diagnostic Procedure > PROCEDURE	Is DTC displayed-	Perform the diagnosis according to DTC.	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B28A2 EyeSight COMMUNICATION(VDC)
2.CHECK VDC. Perform the diagnosis for VDC. Basic Diagnostic Procedure > PROCEDURE	Is DTC displayed-	Perform the diagnosis according to DTC.	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B28A2 EyeSight COMMUNICATION(VDC)
3.CHECK CONNECTOR. Check the VDC connector and the stereo camera connector.	Is the connector OK-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B28A2 EyeSight COMMUNICATION(VDC)	Repair or replace the connector.
4.CHECK STEREO CAMERA. Read the DTC. Diagnostic Code(s) Display	Is another DTC displayed-	Perform the diagnosis according to DTC.	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B28A2 EyeSight COMMUNICATION(VDC)
5.CHECK STEREO CAMERA. 1) Clear the memory. Clear Memory Mode 2) Read the DTC. Diagnostic Code(s) Display	Is the same DTC displayed-	Replace the stereo camera. Stereo Camera > REMOVAL	Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, or temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
