1. BASIC INSPECTION Before performing the diagnosis, check the following items which may cause problems relating the wiper or light. 1. Check the battery. Battery > INSPECTION Battery > INSPECTION 2. Check the relay and fuse condition. Relay and Fuse 3. Check the connecting condition of harness and harness connector. 2. FUNCTION CHECK Steering responsive fog light 1. Start the engine. 2. Turn the fog light switch to OFF. 3. Turn on the headlight low beam. 4. Check if when turning the steering wheel by 45 degrees or more at a vehicle speed of 10 km/h (6 MPH) or more, the fog light on the turning side is only illuminated. AUTO HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVELER SYSTEM 1. Turn the ignition switch to ON. 2. Turn on the headlight low beam. 3. Check that the beam axes move when the vehicle condition is kept for three seconds or more after the vehicle posture is changed with the vehicle stopped. |
