General Description > CAUTION • Do not allow harness and connectors to interfere or get tangled up with other parts. • If the steering wheel has been removed, make sure that the steering roll connector is not turned from the original position. • If the steering wheel and steering angle sensor (steering roll connector) are removed, perform “VSC(VDC) Centering Mode” of the VDC. VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U) > ADJUSTMENT • Securely install the switch. Improper insertion of the pin or claw of the switch may cause improper installation. 1. Install the cruise control command switch assembly. 2. Align the center position of the steering roll connector. Roll Connector > ADJUSTMENT 3. Install the steering wheel. Tightening torque: 39 N·m (4.0 kgf-m, 28.8 ft-lb) Clearance: Between cover assembly - column and steering wheel: 4 — 6 mm (0.16 — 0.24 in) 4. Install the driver’s airbag module.
