Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Lubrication(h6do) / Oil cooler / Installation

1. Install the oil cooler to the oil pan upper, and fasten the oil cooler connector.

Tightening torque:

54 N·m (5.5 kgf-m, 39.8 ft-lb)

NOTE:

Use new O-rings.

(D)	Oil pan upper

2. Install the oil filter. Engine Oil Filter > INSTALLATION

3. Install the engine oil cooler water pipe (A), water hose (B) and water hose (C), and connect the water hose (D) to the oil cooler.

Tightening torque:

6.4 N·m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

4. Install the under cover. Front Under Cover > INSTALLATION

5. Lower the vehicle.

6. Refill the engine oil. Engine Oil > REPLACEMENT

7. Fill the ATF. Engine Coolant > REPLACEMENT
