1. Always refer to “CAUTION” and “NOTE” of “General Description” in the same model’s service manual before starting the service. 2. When working under a vehicle which is jacked-up, always be sure to use rigid rack. 3. The parking brake must always be applied during working. Also, in automatic transmission vehicles, keep the select lever set to the P (Parking) range. 4. Be sure the workshop is properly ventilated when running the engine. 5. Be careful not to touch the rotating parts such as a belt or a fan while the engine is operating. 6. Be careful not to touch hot metal parts immediately after the engine has been turned on or off. |
