Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Front suspension / Front arm / Removal

1. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the front wheels.

2. Remove the under cover - front. Front Under Cover > REMOVAL

3. Remove the front arm.

(1) Pull out the cotter pin (a).

(2) Remove the castle nut (b) and bolt.

(3) Extract the front arm (c) from the housing assembly - front axle.

CAUTION:

Use a tool appropriate to the structure, and be careful not to damage the boot of the joint while removing. The boot may be damaged depending on the tool used.

Preparation tool:

Tie-rod ball joint puller

(4) Remove the bolts, then remove the front arm.
