Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Lubrication(h6do) / Oil pressure switch / Removal

CAUTION:

If the engine oil is spilt over exhaust pipe or the under cover, wipe it off with cloth to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE

2. Remove the under cover. Front Under Cover > REMOVAL

3. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil > REPLACEMENT

4. Disconnect the terminal from oil pressure switch.

5. Remove the oil pressure switch.

Inspection

1. Check that the oil pressure switch does not have deformation, cracks or damage.2. Check the oil pressure switch installation portion for oil leakage and oil seepage. ...
