DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

• A fault is detected if the condition that supply voltage for the fluid pressure sensor is out of normal judgment range continues for predetermined time.

• A fault is detected if the communication status of fluid pressure sensor is abnormal.

• A fault is detected if the data of fluid pressure sensor is abnormal.

• A fault is detected if the offset value of fluid pressure sensor signal exceeds a predetermined judgment value.

• A fault is detected if a difference between fluid pressures for the wheels exceeds a predetermined judgment value.

• A fault is detected if master cylinder pressure and fluid pressures for the wheels exceed predetermined judgment values.

1.CHECK STOP LIGHT SWITCH CIRCUIT.	Is the stop light switch circuit OK-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1742 WHEEL CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSOR	Repair the stop light switch circuit.
2.CHECK OUTPUT OF PRESSURE SENSOR WITH SUBARU SELECT MONITOR. 1) Using the Subaru Select Monitor, select “Data monitor”. Subaru Select Monitor > OPERATION 2) Read the «FL wheel cylinder pressure sensor output» and «FR wheel cylinder pressure sensor output» displayed on the screen.	With the brake pedal released, do the values for «FL wheel cylinder pressure sensor output» and «FR wheel cylinder pressure sensor output» fall within 0 — 11 bar-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1742 WHEEL CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSOR	Replace the VDCCM&H/U. VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U)
3.CHECK OUTPUT OF PRESSURE SENSOR WITH SUBARU SELECT MONITOR. 1) Using the Subaru Select Monitor, select “Data monitor”. Subaru Select Monitor > OPERATION 2) Read the «FL wheel cylinder pressure sensor output» and «FR wheel cylinder pressure sensor output» displayed on the screen.	When the brake pedal is operated, do the FL wheel cylinder output value and FR wheel cylinder output value displayed on the screen change in accordance with the brake pedal- At this time, is the difference of the output values between FR and FL wheel cylinders less than 10 bar-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1742 WHEEL CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSOR	Replace the VDCCM&H/U. VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U)
4.CHECK VDCCM&H/U. 1) Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode 2) Perform the Inspection Mode. Inspection Mode 3) Read the DTC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is the same DTC displayed-	Replace the VDCCM&H/U. VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U)	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1742 WHEEL CYLINDER PRESSURE SENSOR
5.CHECK DETECTION OF OTHER DTCS FOR VDC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is any other DTC displayed-	Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Currently, it is normal. There may have been a poor contact in the harness and connector or a temporarily noise interference.
