DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Immediately at fault recognition

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode Clear Memory Mode > OPERATION, and Inspection Mode Inspection Mode > PROCEDURE.

1.CHECK DTC. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and cool down the engine enough. NOTE: Cool down the engine unit until it can be easily touched by hand. 2) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 3) Check for DTC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is P05C0 displayed in «Present fault»-	Replace the active grille shutter. Active Grille Shutter	Even if DTC is detected, it has returned to a normal condition at this time. NOTE: In this case, there may have been a temporary rise of the temperature in the engine compartment.

1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS

Detect the abnormal temperature inside the active grille shutter.

Judge as NG if out of specification.

4. GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE

Always perform the diagnosis continuously.

5. DIAGNOSTIC METHOD

Judge as NG when the following conditions are established.
