Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Auto headlight beam leveler system (diagnostics) / Inspection mode procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

2. Turn on the headlight low beam.

3. Check that the beam axes move when the vehicle condition is kept for three seconds or more after the vehicle posture is changed with the vehicle stopped.

4. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

NOTE:

If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis according to DTC.
