Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Fuel injection (fuel systems)(h6do) / Engine coolant temperature sensor / Installation

1. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor, and connect the connector to the engine coolant temperature sensor.

NOTE:

Use a new gasket.

Tightening torque:

22 N·m (2.2 kgf-m, 16.2 ft-lb)

2. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

3. Fill engine coolant. Engine Coolant > REPLACEMENT

4. Install the collector cover.

Inspection

1. Check that the engine coolant temperature sensor has no deformation, cracks or other damages.2. Immerse the engine coolant temperature sensor and a thermometer in water.CAUTION:Take care not to all ...
