Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Cooling(h4do) / Active grille shutter / Removal

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE

2. Remove the front bumper. Front Bumper > REMOVAL

3. Disconnect the connector from ambient sensor.

4. Disconnect the connector from the active grille shutter actuator.

5. Remove the bolts securing the active grille shutter to remove the active grille shutter.

6. Remove the clip (A) to remove the ambient sensor.

Inspection

Check that the active grille shutter does not have deformation, cracks and any other damage. ...
