CAUTION: Trunk lid COMPL is heavy. When removing and installing it, always work in a team of two or more persons. 1. TRUNK LID DAMPER STAY 1. Open the trunk lid COMPL. 2. Remove the stay assembly - trunk lid. CAUTION: Do not remove the stop ring completely. Raise it to the position enough to remove the ball stud. (1) Remove the stopper - hinge. (2) Gently push the stop ring against the ball stud to be raised with a flat tip screwdriver. (3) Pull the stay assembly - trunk lid toward you, and remove the stay assembly - trunk lid from the ball stud. 2. TRUNK LID HINGE 1. Open the trunk lid COMPL. 2. Remove the stay assembly - trunk lid. Trunk Lid > REMOVAL 3. Remove the hinge assembly - trunk lid. 3. TRUNK LID PANEL 1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE 2. Remove the trim panel - trunk lid. Trunk Room Trim > REMOVAL 3. Remove the garnish - trunk. Trunk Lid Garnish > REMOVAL 4. Remove the key lock - trunk lid. Key Lock Cylinders > REMOVAL 5. Remove the light assembly - rear finisher. Rear Finisher Light Assembly > REMOVAL 6. Remove the license plate light. License Plate Light > REMOVAL 7. Remove the rearview camera assembly. Rearview Camera System > REMOVAL 8. Remove the rear antenna assembly - exterior. (Model with keyless access with push button start) Keyless Access Outdoor Antenna > REMOVAL 9. Remove the lock assembly - trunk lid. Trunk Lid Latch and Actuator Assembly > REMOVAL 10. Remove the stopper - trunk lid LWR. 11. Disconnect the harness clip, and then pull out the harness as shown in the figure (a). 12. Remove the stay assembly - trunk lid. CAUTION: Do not remove the stop ring completely. Raise it to the position enough to remove the ball stud. (1) Remove the stopper - hinge. (2) Gently push the stop ring against the ball stud to be raised with a flat tip screwdriver. (3) Pull the stay assembly - trunk lid toward you, and remove the stay assembly - trunk lid from the ball stud. 13. Remove the trunk lid COMPL. 14. Remove the hinge assembly - trunk lid from the body. |
