1. Remove the lid assembly - sunroof. Glass Lid > REMOVAL 2. Operate the sunroof switch with the sunshade fully closed to open the sunshade to the position (a) indicated below.
3. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE 4. Remove the trim panel - roof assembly. Roof Trim > REMOVAL 5. Remove the rail assembly - sunroof. Sunroof Assembly > REMOVAL 6. Remove the sunshade assembly. CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the sunshade assembly. (1) Remove the screws and release the claws, then detach the drain holder.
(2) Attach protective tape (a) on the handle and the edge surface of the sunshade assembly. (3) At the center of the brace, remove the sunshade assembly while pushing it downward slightly.
