DIAGNOSIS START CONDITION:

Ignition voltage is 10 V to 16 V.

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Connection failure of airbag CM connector

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to “CAUTION” in “General Description”. General Description > CAUTION

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK CONNECTOR. Check for poor contact of the airbag control module connector.	Is there poor contact-	When the connector is not fully connected, reconnect the connector correctly. Replace the faulty harness if the connector is faulty. (Replace the airbag main harness along with body harness. Or replace the airbag rear harness along with body harness.) 2.CHECK CONNECTOR. Check the airbag main harness connector and the airbag rear harness connector.	Is there poor contact-	When the connector is not fully connected, reconnect the connector correctly. Replace the faulty harness if the connector is faulty. (Replace the airbag main harness along with body harness. Or replace the airbag rear harness along with body harness.)	Even if DTC is detected, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
