CAUTION: • Do not start the engine before charging refrigerant. • If the engine is started with no refrigerant charge, replace the compressor assembly. • If the evaporator has been replaced, add an appropriate amount of compressor oil to the compressor. Compressor Oil > ADJUSTMENT • When the evaporator has been replaced, always replace the packing for expansion valve with a new one and apply the compressor oil on it. • Make sure that the water seal packing on the cover attachment area is securely attached. • Replace the O-rings with new parts, and then apply compressor oil. • Before handling the airbag system components, refer to “CAUTION” of “General Description” in “AIRBAG SYSTEM”. General Description > CAUTION 1. Install the evaporator sensor to the specified location. Evaporator Sensor > INSTALLATION 2. Install the expansion valve - cooling. Tightening torque: 5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb) 3. Install the evaporator. 4. Attach the heater case lower. 5. Install the duct - foot assist. 6. Attach the heater core. 7.
