CAUTION:

• Do not start the engine before charging refrigerant.

• If the engine is started with no refrigerant charge, replace the compressor assembly.

• Make sure that the water seal packing on the cover attachment area is securely attached.

• Replace the O-rings with new parts, and then apply compressor oil.

• Before handling the airbag system components, refer to “CAUTION” of “General Description” in “AIRBAG SYSTEM”. General Description > CAUTION

1. Install the evaporator sensor at the position shown in the figure below.

(1)	Evaporator	(3)	47.7 mm (1.88 in)	(5)	50 mm (1.97 in)
(2)	Evaporator sensor	(4)	34.3 mm (1.35 in)

2. Install the evaporator assembly - cooling. Evaporator > INSTALLATION

3. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

4. Charge refrigerant. Refrigerant Charging Procedure > PROCEDURE

Inspection
