Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Lighting system / High-mounted stop light / Installation

1. SEDAN MODEL

1. Install the light assembly - high-mounted.

2. Install the trim panel assembly - rear shelf. Rear Shelf Trim > INSTALLATION

3. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

2. OUTBACK MODEL

CAUTION:

Make sure the bolt is tightened securely because improper roof spoiler installation may cause water leakage.

1. Install the light assembly - high-mounted.

Tightening torque:

4.5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.3 ft-lb)

2. Install the roof spoiler.

Tightening torque:

7.5 N·m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

3. Install the trim panel - rear gate.

4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE
