Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Emission control (aux. Emission control devices)(h6do) / Egr control valve / Installation

1. Install the EGR control valve, and connect the connector to the EGR control valve.

NOTE:

Use a new gasket.

Tightening torque:

19 N·m (1.9 kgf-m, 14.0 ft-lb)

2. Install the EGR pipe A. EGR Pipe > INSTALLATION

3. Install the air intake boot. Air Intake Boot > INSTALLATION

4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

Inspection

1. Check that the EGR control valve has no deformation, cracks or other damages.2. Measure the resistance between EGR control valve terminals.Terminal No.Standard2 and 122±2 -2 and 322±2 -5 and 422� ...
