1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE 2. Remove the rear gate trim. Rear Gate Trim > REMOVAL 3. Remove the garnish assembly - rear gate. (1) Remove the bolts and clips, and remove the cover - rear gate RH and LH.
(2) Remove the power rear gate touch sensor LWR. (Model with power rear gate) Power Rear Gate Touch Sensor > REMOVAL (3) Disconnect the request switch harness connector. (4) Remove the nuts. (5) Remove the clips and remove the garnish assembly - rear gate.
