Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Fuel injection (fuel systems)(h6do) / Fuel pump control unit / Removal

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE

2. Remove the trunk trim panel assembly - side on the RH side. (Sedan model) Rear Quarter Trim > REMOVAL

3. Remove the right side rear quarter trim. (OUTBACK model) Rear Quarter Trim > REMOVAL

4. Remove the fuel pump control unit.

5. Disconnect the connector from fuel pump control unit.

Inspection

Check that the fuel pump control unit has no deformation, cracks or other damages. ...
