Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Airbag system / Front sub sensor / Removal

CAUTION:

Refer to “CAUTION” of “General Description” before handling the airbag system components. General Description > CAUTION

1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

2. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. NOTE

3. Remove the front sub sensor.

(1) Remove the clips and remove the air intake duct. (When removing the sensor RH)

(2) Remove the bolt, and then detach the front sub sensor.

(3) Disconnect the connector of front sub sensor. Airbag Connector > PROCEDURE

CAUTION:• If the airbag has been activated, replace the front sub sensor with a new part.• Do not reuse the bolt and nut.Always replace with the specified new bolts and nuts.• When i ...
