DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

• Detected when a connection between the Bluetooth module is lost (or there has already been no connection) and the connection cannot be established even after trying to reset the Bluetooth module hardware three times.

• Detected when the connection with the Bluetooth module has established but the module does not respond to the initialization request, and there is no response from the module even after trying to reset the Bluetooth module three times.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

Cannot connect with the Bluetooth device.

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK DTC. 1) Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode 2) Turn the ignition switch to OFF > ON. 3) Read the DTC again. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is DTC B2249 displayed- (Current malfunction)	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B2249 BLUETOOTH MODULE	Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
2.CHECK BLUETOOTH DEVICE. 1) Restart the Bluetooth device, and connect again. 2) Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode 3) Turn the ignition switch to OFF > ON. 4) Read the DTC again. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is DTC B2249 displayed- (Current malfunction)	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B2249 BLUETOOTH MODULE	Bluetooth device was faulty.
3.CHECK BLUETOOTH DEVICE. 1) Connect another Bluetooth device. NOTE: Supported network type: Ver. 3.0 +EDR compatible • Bluetooth Phone Profile – HFP: Ver. 1.6 – OPP: Ver. 1.2 – PBAP: Ver. 1.1 – MAP: Ver. 1.0 – SPP: Ver. 1.1 • Bluetooth Audio Device Profile – A2DP: Ver. 1.2 – AVRCP: Ver. 1.4 2) Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode 3) Turn the ignition switch to OFF > ON. 4) Read the DTC again. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is DTC B2249 displayed- (Current malfunction)	Replace the audio (7-inch display) or navigation unit. Audio Navigation Body	Bluetooth device was faulty.
