Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Continuously variable transmission(tr690) / Primary speed sensor / Installation

CAUTION:

Be sure to prevent water or oil from contacting the connector terminal of primary speed sensor. If adhesion occurs, replace with a new part.

1. Install the primary speed sensor.

NOTE:

• Use new O-rings.

• Apply CVTF to the O-rings.

Tightening torque:

5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)

2. Connect the harness connector.

3. Install the harness stay.

Tightening torque:

16 N·m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)

4. Install the air intake boot. Air Intake Boot > INSTALLATION

5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

6. Install the collector cover.

Inspection
