Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual: Installation
1. FRONT CUSHION RUBBER AND ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET 1. Install the engine mounting bracket onto the engine. Tightening torque: 30 N·m (3.1 kgf-m, 22.1 ft-lb) 2. Install the front cushion rubber to the front mounting bracket and engine mounting bracket. Tightening torque: T1: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb) T2: 45 N·m (4.6 kgf-m, 33.2 ft-lb)
3. Remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
4. Remove the ST1 and ST2 from the engine unit.
5. Install the V-belt cover. Tightening torque: 6.5 N·m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.8 ft-lb) 6. Install the air intake boot. Air Intake Boot > INSTALLATION 7. Install the air intake duct. Air Intake Duct > INSTALLATION 8. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE 9. Set the front hood to the normal position. NOTE 10. Close the front hood. 2. FRONT MOUNTING BRACKET 1. Install the front mounting bracket. Tightening torque: 60 N·m (6.1 kgf-m, 44.3 ft-lb) 2. Install the front cushion rubber. Engine Mounting > INSTALLATION 3. Install the radiator fan and fan motor assembly. Radiator Fan and Fan Motor Assembly > INSTALLATION |
Inspection
Check that the engine mounting does not have deformation, cracks and any other damage. ...
