Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Security and locks / Rear gate opener button / Installation

CAUTION:

Make sure that the harness grommet is securely installed.

If not properly installed, this may cause leaks.

1. Install the button - opener rear gate and rear lock button.

2. Install the garnish switch bracket to the garnish assembly - rear gate.

3. Install the garnish assembly - rear gate. Rear Gate Garnish > INSTALLATION

Tightening torque

4.5 N·m (0.4 kgf-m, 3.3 ft-lb)

4. Install the trim panel - rear gate. Rear Gate Trim > INSTALLATION

5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE
