Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Lighting system / High-mounted stop light / Removal

1. SEDAN MODEL

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. NOTE

2. Remove the trim panel assembly - rear shelf. Rear Shelf Trim > REMOVAL

3. Remove the light assembly - high-mounted.

(1) Disconnect the connector.

(2) Remove the lock washers and remove the high-mounted stop light.

2. OUTBACK MODEL

1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. NOTE

2. Remove the trim panel - rear gate. Rear Gate Trim > REMOVAL

3. Remove the roof spoiler. Roof Spoiler > REMOVAL

4. Remove the nuts and remove the light assembly - high-mounted.

Inspection
