Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Lighting system / Rear finisher light assembly / Installation

1. SEDAN MODEL

1. Replace the light assembly gasket with a new part.

2. Install the rear finisher light assembly.

3. Install the garnish - trunk.

Tightening torque:

4.5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.3 ft-lb)

4. Install the trim panel - trunk lid.

5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

2. OUTBACK MODEL

1. Replace the light assembly gasket with a new part.

2. Install the rear finisher light assembly.

3. Install the garnish assembly - rear gate.

Tightening torque:

4.5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.3 ft-lb)

4. Install the trim panel - rear gate.

5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

Removal
