Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual / Security and locks / Rear door latch and door lock actuator assembly / Installation

NOTE:

Make sure the child safety lock works correctly after installation.

1. Before installation, check the following items.

• Cable is free from deformation.

• Grease is applied sufficiently to lever joints.

If grease is insufficient, add it as necessary before assembling.

2. Install the latch and actuator assembly - rear.

CAUTION:

Do not re-use the screws. Always replace with a new part.

Tightening torque:

6.5 N·m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)

3. Install the glass assembly - rear door. Rear Door Glass > INSTALLATION

4. Install the sealing cover - rear door.

5. Install the trim panel - rear door. Door Trim > INSTALLATION

6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

Inspection
